CLUTCH START” cancel switch to cancel the clutch start system when the engine switch is turned
to the “
ON”.The indicator comes on when the clutch start system is canceled.The clutch start cancel switch is automatically turned off when the engine switch
is turned off.Note:Clutch start systemThe system is designed to keep the starter motor from operating if the clutch pedal
is not depressed all the way down.Canceling the systemThe switch allows the vehicle to be driven out of difficult off-road situations by
cranking the engine in gear with the clutch engaged.Conditions to turn the clutch start cancel switch ON:Vehicle must be in “
IGNITION ON”The clutch start cancel switch and brake pedal must be pressed simultaneously for
1.5 secondsClutch start cancel switch indicator & multi-information display graphics will appear
when clutch start cancel is onHill-start assist control brake function is disabled when clutch start cancel is onTo start engine cranking in clutch start cancel mode:Vehicle must be stationary with brake pedal pressedParking brake & brake hold must be turned offSimultaneously press the engine switch and brake pedal for 1.5 seconds to begin engine

Caution: Clutch Start Cancel enabled temporarily. Engine can start in gear. HOLD Engine
Switch and Brake Pedal to start engine.” or “
Caution: Clutch Start Cancel enabled temporarily. Engine can start in gear. Hill-start
assist control is disabled.”These two messages will cycle when it is OK for the clutch start cancel system to
start engine cranking.Press engine switch and brake pedal simultaneously for 1.5 seconds to start engine
cranking.“

engine.”Press brake pedal to stop vehicle from moving.“
